The Sisal Journey

From seedling to finished product, the journey of premium sisal fibres.

Nursery & Cultivation

The journey begins in our nurseries, where sisal bulbils and suckers are carefully tended until they're ready for planting. Our sustainable cultivation practices ensure healthy plant growth while preserving the land for future generations.

Harvesting

After 3-4 years of growth, mature sisal leaves are ready for harvest. Our skilled harvesters carefully select and cut only the mature leaves, ensuring the plant continues to thrive for up to 12 years.

Fibres Extraction

The harvested leaves undergo decortication, a process that separates the fibres from the pulp. Our modern machinery ensures efficient extraction while our water recycling systems minimize environmental impact.

Processing

The extracted fibres are washed, dried, and brushed to remove any remaining impurities. This meticulous process ensures our sisal meets the highest quality standards.

Finished Products

The processed fibres are transformed into a variety of products including ropes, twines, carpets, and specialized textiles. Our craftspeople combine traditional techniques with modern innovations to create durable, sustainable products.
